Your property is within the area <br /> impacted by one of these proposed changes. The proposed changes, summarized <br /> below, are intended to support the goals and objectives of the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners and the Durham City Council with consideration of community input. <br /> Information and <br /> Neighborhood Information Meeting Map Sent <br /> The first new event is a neighborhood information meeting to readdress comments, <br /> learn about and provide input on proposed land use and zoning map changes for the <br /> area. The meeting will be jointly hosted by the Orange County Planning and <br /> Inspections Department and the Durham City-County Planning Department and i take <br /> place on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the Murphey School (3717 <br /> Murphey School Rd., Durham, NC 27705). Interested persons are encouraged to attend <br /> this neighborhood meeting to learn more about this proposal and/or amendments to the <br /> original proposal. A map of the area to be addressed is included. <br /> Community and public hearing comments will also be discussed and evaluated at this <br /> meeting. <br /> Orange County Joint Public Hearing <br /> The second new event is a Joint Public Hearing of the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners and Orange County Planning Board on the proposed changes on <br /> Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Department of Social Services, located at <br /> 113 Mayo Street (Hillsborough Commons Shopping Center) in Hillsborough, North <br /> Carolina. Interested persons are invited to address the boards with their comments <br /> regarding the proposed land use and zoning map changes at this Joint Public Hearing. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
