PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The <br />Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both <br />with the Board and with fellow citizens. At any time should any member of the Board or <br />any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending member to <br />leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to <br />be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine <br />commitment to this public charge is observed. All electronic devices such as cell <br />phones, pagers, and computers should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />1. Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Text Amendments - To review <br />government- initiated amendments to the text of the UDO to add a conditional zoning <br />district (REDA -CZ -1) that would be applicable to the geographic area addressed in <br />the NC Highway 57 /Speedway Area Small Area Plan and other necessary <br />amendments to implement recommendations made in the small area plan. <br />2. Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map and Zoning Atlas Amendments — <br />To review government- initiated amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land <br />Use Map and to the Zoning Atlas to change the land use classification of <br />approximately 493.5 acres in the vicinity of the Interstate 85 /US Highway 70 <br />interchange (in the vicinity of the Eno Economic Development District near the <br />eastern county line) and to change the zoning district of approximately 351.5 acres <br />of property in the same area <br />1 of 2 <br />
