At my day job I provide legal technical assistance to health officers, <br /> boards of health, policy makers and related individuals and am familiar with many of the <br /> issues facing boards of health in general and the situation in North Carolina in particular. <br /> As a volunteer and in previous positions I have worked with a wide variety of individuals <br /> and groups, including disadvantaged populations, elected officials and appointed policy <br /> makers. I am also proficient in public health epidemiological data and its impacts on <br /> health and health policy.
