37 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Margaret Samuels <br />I have a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of South Florida and a Masters <br />degree from New York University. I completed a fellowship at the University of New <br />Mexico where I implemented programs in collaboration with the Native American <br />community and Head Start. <br />Other Comments: <br />It would be an honor to serve on the Orange County Economic Development Advisory <br />Board. As a both a resident and employer in Orange County, I am very interested in <br />encouraging economic development in our community. I am impressed with the current <br />work of the County Commissioners and staff involved in economic development and <br />would appreciate the opportunity to collaborate and partner on this committee. My <br />current work, funding organizations and small business in Orange County to provide child <br />care and early childhood programs keeps me very in tune with the economic endeavors <br />of our county. I feel my background will be a good fit and allow me to analyze and <br />evaluate suitable actions.
