This represents a 200% growth in CHCCS <br />computers and 300 %+ in other network devices since 2006. CHCCS secure and guest wireless <br />networks now support 2,500+ simultaneous connections each day and those numbers continue <br />to increase as users continue to bring in their own wireless devices. <br />CHCCS critical network and system services are provided from the core switches at the Lincoln <br />Center and Smith Middle Data Centers. There is a district -owned gigabit fiber connection <br />between them. The core switches at Lincoln Center support the district's Wide Area Network <br />(WAN) and Internet services, the network security firewall, half of the Internet Protocol <br />telephony (IPT) servers, Connect 2 School (C2S) core servers, and a backup storage <br />appliance. The core switches at Smith support the district's WAN services, the wireless <br />infrastructure, half of the IPT servers, the primary network storage appliance, C2S application <br />servers, and 20+ virtual servers for a host of administrative and instructional applications. In <br />order to continue supporting its ability to provide a higher level of computing and <br />
