GORDON <br />BARRYJACOBS <br />200 SOUTH CAMERON STREET <br />HILLSBOROUGH NORTH CAROLINA <br />STEVE YUHA- <br />STEVE YUHASZ <br />� 27278 <br />April 24, 2012 <br />Dear Commissioners, <br />_ ir- <br />\h QEar °� <br />At the Board's April 3, 2012 regular meeting, Commissioner Gordon brought forth a petition <br />and it was reviewed by the ChairNice Chair /Manager at agenda review: <br />1) Review and consider requesting staff to schedule a public meeting to educate the <br />residents on issues and potential solutions for fire insurance /tax issue for the <br />Southern Triangle Fire District. <br />2) Review and consider for the Board to schedule a public hearing prior to making any <br />. decisions on fire insurance /tax issues for the Southern Triangle Fire District. <br />After review of this petition, the ChairNice Chair /Manager have directed staff to do the <br />following: <br />1) Both issues, the proposed public education meeting and the proposed' public <br />hearing, will be addressed and recommendations made by, the Emergency <br />Services Work Group to the Board of Commissioners as the work group works <br />through these issues.
