a <br />Services as a model for NC. The 2012-17 MAP, along with step-by-step guidelines for creating <br />a community aging plan, will be available on the Orange County Aging website as a resource for <br />other counties throughout the country. Chair Bernadette Pelissier served as BOCC liaison to <br />the MAP Steering Committee. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time. This summer, staff will be creating an implementation <br />and evaluation plan for the first year of the MAP. Staff has already identified some strategies <br />that will be accomplished within the current year's budget and the proposed 2012-13 budget. <br />Extraordinary costs for any future programs or projects will be proposed to County Management <br />and the BOCC for budget consideration in future years. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board review and receive as <br />information the 2012-17 Master Aging Plan. <br />
