The Board was to consider a proposed amendment to the Orange County Subdivision <br />Regulations, Section IV-B-3-b. <br />DEFERRED <br />c. Amendments to Open Space Standards for Flexible Development Subdivisions <br />The Board was to consider closing the public hearing and consider proposed <br />amendments to the Open Space Standards in subdivisions following the Flexible <br />Development option as proposed by Administration, Planning Board, and Planning Staff. <br />DEFERRED <br />d. Mill Creek II Subdivision (Section Two) - Preliminary Plan <br />The Board was to consider the Preliminary Plan for Mill Creek II Subdivision (Section <br />Twa) in accordance with the Resolution of Approval for Administration, Planning Board, <br />and Planning Staff. <br />DEFERRED <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs <br />to adjourn the September 16, 2003 meeting until 1:00 p.m. on September 17, 2003 at the <br />Government Services Center in order to have a conference call on whether or not to postpone <br />the Public Hearing on the HSUS Animal Shelter Study (scheduled for September 18, 2003) to <br />later date due to the possibility of inclement weather due to Hurricane Isabel. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />CONFERENCE CALL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 2003 <br />1:00 p.m. <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Stephen Halkiotis <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT BY PHONE: Alice Gordon and Barry Jacobs <br />COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Margaret Brawn, Chair and Moses Carey <br />Vice-Chair Commissioner Gordon called the meeting to order and asked far any updates on the <br />weather. <br />Commissioner Halkiotis stated that he thought that it would be in the best interest of the citizens <br />and the County to postpone the meeting of the scheduled HSUS Study from September 18, <br />2003 to the following week. <br />Commissioner Jacobs suggested that the public hearing be moved to Thursday, September 25, <br />2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to postpone <br />the scheduled Public Hearing from September 18, 2003 to September 25, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at <br />the Southern Human Services Center. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />10.
