Instruction Manual IMOEV~OOfl2E <br />E#ective November 2011 <br />Mounting to Uni-Strut <br />dnce a proper site has been chosen and the electricai service has <br />been run to the location, you can begin installat+an. <br />Step 1: Remove the maunting plate from the back of the EVSE unit <br />by placing the unit on a solid non-scratch surfa~e and open- <br />ing ihs unit by turning tha latch on the side. Remove the <br />three nuts on the 10-32 studs that attach the mounting plate <br />to the unit. The location of #hess mounting studs can be <br />seen in Figure 7. Save these nuts and washers as they wiil <br />be needed to re-atta~ the unit later in the installation. <br />S#ep 2: Using the mounting pla#e as a tempiate, determine where <br />the anchors shoufd be pfaced to be used for mounting. it <br />Installation and Service Manual <br />Level 2AC Povv-R-StationT"" EleetricVehicle <br />Supply Equipment (EVSE) <br />is recommended in high wi~d and use area, ccoss-arms <br />shouid be used to avoid twisting which can occur in a single <br />pole installation. Make sure the mounting plate is level. <br />1f mounting on a singie pole use the two canter holes. If <br />mounting utitizing cross-arms use the four ou#side square <br />holes. <br />Step 3: Attach mounting plate using as shown in Figure 9. Use <br />appropriate hardware making sure it is galvanized ar stain- <br />less steel for weather protection 'rf mpun#i~g outdoars. <br />Step 4.After The mounting plate is securely attached to the mount- <br />ing s#ructure, maunt the EVSE unR to ¢he mounting plate <br />using the washers and nuts removed in SYep 1. <br />Figure 9.
