EXHIBIT `B' <br /> Scope of Services to Provide a <br /> 911/Communications Center operations Study <br /> for orange County,North Carolina <br /> Project Understanding <br /> Orange County has asked that coincidental with the Comprehensive Assessment of its EMS <br /> program, that an additional study be undertaken to address various workload, staffing, data <br /> capabilities, and costs at the County's 911/Communications Center. <br /> In brief discussions with County staff,the focus of the study will include: <br /> ■ Center Staffing <br /> ■ Performance &workload <br /> ■ Data availability <br /> ■ Dispatch costs <br /> ■ Existing CAD capabilities(shortcomings) <br /> Proposed Work Plan <br /> The Work Plan outline that follows identifies the major tasks and activities proposed to be <br /> undertaken by the consultant. It is formatted to address both the topical concerns of the <br /> County as well as how the consultant intends to conduct the study. <br /> The tasks and activities described have been organized in the approximate sequence that they <br /> may occur.
