Official's Guide to Disasters <br /> • Appendix H: Draft Emergency Proclamation and Termination <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> OF AN ORANGECOUNTY <br /> STATE OF EMERGENCY <br /> Section 1. Pursuant to County Emergency Management Ordinance and Chapter <br /> 166A of the General Statutes and Article 36A Chapter 14 of the General <br /> Statutes, I have determined that a State of Emergency as defined in the <br /> Ordinance exist in the County of Orange. <br /> Section 2. I, therefore proclaim the existence of a State of Emergency in the County <br /> of Orange. <br /> Section 3. 1 hereby order all county law enforcement officers and employees and all <br /> other emergency response personnel subject to my control to cooperate in <br /> the enforcement and implementation of the provisions of the county <br /> emergency ordinances which are set forth. <br /> • Section 4. 1 hereby authorize the Orange County Emergency Operations Center to <br /> be activated at 7:00 AM, Saturday, January 30, 2010 for as long as <br /> required. <br /> Section 5. 1 hereby authorize the Orange County Manager to take protective action <br /> including opening shelters as needed. <br /> Section 6. Execution of Emergency Plan. All civilians and emergency management <br /> personnel are ordered to comply with the emergency reaction plan. <br /> Section 7. This proclamation shall become effectively immediately.
