A- achmen+ oR <br /> 9 <br /> Ordinance#:2012- Oil <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br /> THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS, there is a need to review and, as necessary, revise existing land use <br /> regulations over time and <br /> g , <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Planning Director is authorized to initiate text <br /> amendments, and <br /> WHEREAS, the State of North Carolina has established new development <br /> regulations including new stormwater standards establishing nitrogen and phosphorus <br /> limits for properties within the Falls Lake and Jordan Lake water basins, and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed amendments were reviewed and approved by the North <br /> Carolina Environmental Management Commission (EMC), and <br /> WHEREAS, the amendments are necessary to ensure local regulations are <br /> compliant with recent modifications to State law, and <br /> WHEREAS, the County has held the required public hearing and has found the <br /> proposed text amendments are consistent with the adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Orange County that the Unified <br /> Development Ordinance (UDO) of Orange County is hereby amended as follows: <br /> RED= Proposed Text <br /> Striketh <br /> �^= Deleted Text <br /> REMAINDER OF.PAGE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK <br />
