Our <br /> residents were very pleased to hear from you at their last Resident Association meeting <br /> on how last year's gift made a difference. <br /> Sharing resources and giving back to the community are.part of who we are. Our free <br /> meeting spaces are shared with non-profits. We provide internships for students seeking <br /> front-line and management positions in the field of aging. Residents of Carol Woods <br /> offer thousands of volunteer hours to a wide variety of Chapel Hill organizations. Our <br /> staff serve on several local non-profit boards and collaborate with community efforts <br /> such as the Orange County Master Aging Plan to help seniors from all walks of life. <br /> Charitable gifts are given with thoughtful consideration to where the funds will make the <br /> most impact on life for older persons beyond this campus. Once again,I am pleased to <br /> inform you that the Charitable Fund Board and Full Board of Directors voted to include <br /> Orange County in the charitable giving program this year.
