The District is served by the White Cross Volunteer Fire Department. The <br />Departrnent provides mutual aid to each of these departments on any significant <br />incidents, and responds under the new multi-department response protocol with <br />these departments as well. The District also borders Alamance and Chatham <br />Counties and provides mutual aid on request to Eli Whitney. <br />64 <br />
