Following this process, the Department <br />should evaluate the feasibility of hiring 1 person to serve 8 to 10 hour days on <br />weekdays. <br />We recommend that the District raise its tax rate from $0.042 to $0.057. This will <br />add $43,000 to the Department's revenues and put it more into line with other <br />districts. This addiiional revenue is essential to hiring paid personnel. <br />We recommend that the County reconfigure the District line with Orange Grove <br />where the Orange Grove District dips twice into the White Cross District. From a <br />strategic and tactical perspective, this azea belongs in White Cross, especially in <br />light of the distribution of inembers who live in or in close proximiiy to these areas. <br />70 <br />
