Appointments: <br />(1 } Special Board of Equalization and Review (E&R Board} <br />The Board considered appointing members to the Special Board of Equalization and <br />Review {E&R Board}. <br />Chair Brawn said that she serves on this, and when she does, she does Hat get paid. <br />She recommended Reginald Morgan, Pamela Davis, William Crowther, and Thomas Heffner <br />(alternate}. She also volunteered to serve on the board, as an alternate or member. <br />Commissioner Gordan asked Chair Brown is she would recommend the rest of the <br />people on the list as alternates, as stated in the recommendation. <br />Tax Assessor John Smith said that the larger the selection of people, the easier to fill <br />vacancies. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis <br />to appoint Pamela Davis, Reginald Morgan, and William Crowther as regular members and the <br />remaining applicants as alternates {Chair Margaret Brown, Lee F. Butzin, Thomas Heffner, <br />Timothy Kepley, Jerry L.. Kruter, Jane L. REPORTS <br />a. Personnel Ordinance Revision - Drug and Alcohol Testing <br />The Board was to receive a report on the possible revisions to the Orange County <br />Personnel Ordinance to update the policy covering employee drug and alcohol testing and to <br />implement the Board's direction as to handling positive drug and alcohol tests. <br />DEFERRED <br />11.
