Julia Blackwood Park Vicinity Map <br /> PURPOSE: To re-convene the February 27, 2012 Quarterly Public Hearing and adopt the <br /> proposed Master Telecommunication Plan Map (hereafter the `Plan') modifications. <br /> i <br /> BACKGROUND: This Plan Modification was presented at the February 27, 2012 Quarterly , <br /> Public Hearing. The Plan Map will modify the initial Plan, which the BOCC approved on May , <br /> 17, 2012 by adding four new tower sites (Sites P-9, P-10, P-12, and P15, with yellow circles as <br /> denoted within Attachment 2). <br /> During the February 27, 2012 Quarterly Public Hearing, the following comments were made: <br /> • A listing of existing tower sites with an estimate of capacity for additional collocations at <br /> each existing tower site would place the Plan Map in a better perspective. <br /> STAFF COMMENT: Please refer to Attachment 3 for the requested information. The <br /> map provides the location of existing, and proposed, Plan tower sites as well as various <br /> other existing telecommunication tower sites throughout the County. Attachment 4 <br /> contains a list of existing tower sites with known collocations. It should be noted that: <br /> 1. Tower numbers may not be sequential because of demolition or approved <br /> towers were not built and the permits have expired. <br /> 2. Staff has been working toward an inventory of tower collocations with <br /> latitude and longitude and base elevation data. Data are reflective of <br />
