This could not be discussed at the February quarterly public hearing.
BOARD MATTERS
Board Procedures:
Commissioner Jacobs would like to work on having a more comprehensive disclosure and conflict
of interest statement for the Board and also see what other governments do.
Geoff Gledhill will come back with a recommendation.
Commissioner Gordon mentioned that TTA has recently revised their disclosure statement. He said
that he feels that because of the presence of the two County Commissioners and the Planning staff
from Orange County that it is going to end up to be a better project than what it would have been.
John Link made reference to the chipping of the debris at Hampton Pointe and said that they
followed up on it and it is within the Town's jurisdiction.
Commissioner Jacobs made reference to the current location of the Wal-Mart and if there was any
success in contacting the owners about the possible use of this facility. Rod Visser said that the
staff has met with the Manager of Wal-Mart in the last ten days and they are very amenable to
working with the County.
