Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Text Amendments -To review government- <br /> 9 initiated amendments to the text of the UDO to revise Section 6.12.5 to incorporate <br /> 10 recent modifications to State law concerning placement of political signs within the right- <br /> 11 of-way of the State highway system. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Michael Harvey presented this item. <br /> 14 Andrea Rohrbacher asked if this would affect the November election. Michael Harvey <br /> 15 said yes. Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Text Amendments-To review government- <br /> 24 initiated amendments to the text of the UDO to revise Section 2.24 to incorporate <br /> 25 recently passed State legislation that modified the statute of limitations for the appeal of <br /> 26 local government decisions. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Michael Harvey presented this item. He said that the State has changed the appeal <br /> 29 deadline, and the deadline is now 60 days for issues related to the Zoning Atlas, 365 days for <br /> 30 issues involving the UDO, and 1,035 (3 years) for issues related to an alleged defect in the <br /> 31 UDO. <br /> 32 A motion was made by Commissioner Yuhasz, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br /> 33 refer the matter to the Planning Board with a request that a recommendation be returned to the <br /> 34 BOCC in time for the April 17, 2012 BOCC regular meeting; and adjourn the public hearing until <br /> 35 April 17, 2012 in order to receive and accept the Planning Board's recommendation and any <br /> 36 submitted written comments. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 <br /> 39 The following item is not reviewed by the Planning Board. It is heard at public hearing <br /> 40 only by the Board of County Commissioners: <br /> 41 <br /> 42 <br /> 43 10.Telecommunication Plan Map-To review government-initiated amendments to modify <br /> 44 the adopted Master Telecommunications Plan Map (MTP) by adding 4 additional sites. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Glenn Bowles showed the Telecommunication Plan Map modifications. At the February <br /> 47 2011 Quarterly Public Hearing, the boards reviewed the initial MTP map and then in May the <br /> 48 BOCC approved the initial map. This is a modification of that map. The map that was approved <br /> 49 last year was all the red and green areas (red being existing towers and green being proposed). <br /> 50 The light green circle around each area is a two-mile buffer.
