John <br />combines backgrounds in science, non - profit business, and industry. <br />The following competencies will be provided by Mr. Delconte for overall management of the OCCC: <br />• Manage the financial position of the organization. <br />• Manage move -in, purchases and space upgrades. <br />• Personnel management, in conjunction with a hiring committee: interview, hire and manage a <br />part-time Coordinator, and part-time Custodian. <br />• Oversee rentals and space management. <br />• Oversee facility maintenance and coordination with Orange County as required. <br />• Coordinate marketing, sales, and community networking with other Board Members. <br />Day -to -day operations will be gradually transferred to the Coordinator after that position is filled. <br />Additional competencies required for the success of the Center to be provided by various Board <br />Members: <br />Community outreach to increase presence and facility usage utilizing sales and marketing <br />strategies. <br />Community networking to maintain ongoing community involvement and support. <br />Fundraising efforts for the various phases of the project as well as ongoing operational support. <br />PERSONNEL PLANNING <br />Part -time Coordinator <br />A part-time Coordinator will be hired by December 1, 2011 to work approximately 10 hours per week <br />at a starting salary of $17 per hour. The Coordinator will be responsible for day -to -day support of the <br />Center and will report to the OCCC Board of Directors.
