35 <br />They noted that they still have some level of concern, but are not <br />willing to make an issue of it going forward. <br />I reiterated my previous commitment to document the design <br />changes on revised SUP drawings for the record. <br />Description of Chan~ <br />The resulting design changes to the ball field and parking area are summarized below. <br />These changes reflect the same information shown on the sketch provided to the Preyers <br />on Dec. 17, 201 l, and discussed with them on Jan. 3, 2012. <br />• Shifted the field and parking further from the property line, <br />• Rotated the field slightly clockwise to obtain better sun orientation, <br />• Relocated a portion of the existing trail to avoid offsite encroachment, <br />• Added an earth berm between the perimeter buffer and the field, and <br />• Added evergreen screening vegetation on top of the berm. <br />~ The new configuration results in the following minimum separations from the <br />property line to various site elements, as compared to the previous configuration: <br />Home Plate: 120 feet (vs. previous 90 feet) <br />Backstop: 85 feet (vs. previous 55 feet) <br />Bleachers: 80 feet (vs. previous 50 feet) <br />Parking: 100 feet (vs. previous 50 feet) <br />I offer the foregoing information as an accurate record of the interactions and dialogue <br />between the school, the Preyers, and me, relative to the new ball field proposed as part of <br />the Carolina Friends School SUP application. <br />Sincerely, <br />,~~'"",.~r~r~+' <br />w.. ~. <br />Tony M.
