Foushee, Alice M. Gordon, Barry Jacobs, Pam Hemminger, Earl McKee and Steve <br />Yuhasz <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY PRESENT: John Roberts <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Frank Clifton, Assistant County Manager <br />Michael Talbert and Deputy Clerk to the David Hunt (All other staff members will be identified <br />appropriately below) <br />PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Vice-Chair Larry Wright, Alan Campbell, Pete <br />Hallenbeck, Mark Marcoplos, H.T. Crawford, Judith Wegner, Lisa <br />Stuckey, <br />A. OPENING REMARKS FROM THE CHAIR <br />Chair Pelissier called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM. <br />B. PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Chair dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />1. Carolina Friends School petition to modify an existing Class A Special Use Permit <br />to expand school operations at their facility at 4809 Friends School Road - To <br />review a developer-initiated application to rezone several parcels to a Conditional Use <br />Zoning classification and a Class A Special Use Permit application seeking to expand <br />existing school operations. <br />Planning Board Vice-Chair Larry Wright introduced the items. Item C-1 is a quasi- <br />judicial hearing and those who want to speak must be sworn in. <br />Deputy Clerk to the Board David Hunt swore in the speakers. <br />Michael Harvey: This is an application for a proposal to extend conditional use zoning, as well <br />as ask for the adoption of the Class A Special Use Permit concerning the operation of Carolina <br />15 <br />
