206 <br />Attachment 3 is a table showing the various names of land use classifications utilized throughout the <br />Comprehensive Plan document and Future Land Use Map and the proposed 'final" names to be <br />applied consistently in the document and on the Map. The table also shows classifications and <br />overlays that are mentioned in one or more section of the document that have not been utilized on <br />the map and staff is proposing for deletion. <br />Attachment 4 depicts the proposed change to the title of the adopted land use map, consistent with <br />proposed wording within the Comprehensive Plan document. In addition, land use classifications <br />have been reorganized on the map legend and names are also consistent with the proposed names <br />within the document. <br />Ordinance Review Committee (ORC) Review <br />The Planning Board ORC reviewed the proposed Comprehensive Plan text amendments at the <br />October 5, 2011 meeting. The ORC had no comments on the proposed changes. <br />Notification Procedural Requirements <br />Legal ads for the public hearing were placed in a newspaper of general circulation in the County <br />in accordance with Section 2.3.6 of the Unified Development Ordinance. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: See Attachment 1 <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Director recommends the Board: <br />Receive the proposed amendments to the 2030 Comprehensive Plan as detailed in this <br />abstract and attachments. <br />2. Conduct the public hearing and accept public, BOCC, and Planning Board comment on <br />the proposed amendments. <br />3. Refer the matter to the Planning Board with a request that a recommendation be returned <br />to the BOCC in time for the February 7, 2012 BOCC regular meeting. <br />4. Adjourn the public hearing until February 7, 2012 in order to receive and accept the <br />Planning Board's recommendation and any submitted written comments. <br />
