81 <br />Carolina Friends School <br />Traffic Impact Analysis <br />B. Friends School Road at Carolina Friends School Entrance <br />.( Unsignalized) <br />Analyses indicate the unsignalized intersection of Friends School Road at the <br />Carolina Friends School Entrance currently operates with minimal overall delays <br />in the AM study period. The side street operates at LOS C. For the 2016 No Build <br />and Build Out Scenarios, the intersection is expected to continue to operate with <br />minimal overall delays. The side street is expected to operate at LOS D during <br />the No Build and Build Out scenarios. The additional traffic generated by the <br />proposed expansion adds 4.6 seconds of delay to the eastbound approach. <br />According to the NCDOT, the 2009 average daily traffic volume on Friends <br />School Road was 650 vehicles per day. Two lane roadways can theoretically <br />carry over 12,000 vehicles per day.
