Future wastewater needs will consist
of a surface drip irrigation system which is also permitted by North Carolina
Division of Water Quality. The current water supply is a public well. Any future
well sites will have to be approved by North Carolina Division of Environment
and Natural Resources - Public Water Supply Section and then subsequently
permitted by Orange County Environmental Health.
I have reviewed the proposed site plan and find no conflicts at this time.
However, I would suggest that any land disturbing activities for any new building
or improvement that would result in additional student enrollment should not
commence until the Health Department and Planning receive a copy of the issued
North Carolina Division of Water Quality septic permit.
Let me know if you have any further questions on the well and septic systems.
Sincerely,
A11-
Alan Clapp
Soil Scientist
Environmental Hcalth Services
127
