PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The <br />Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both <br />with the Board and with fellow citizens. At any time should any member of the Board or <br />any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending member to <br />leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to <br />be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine <br />commitment to this public charge is observed. All electronic devices such as cell <br />phones, pagers, and computers should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />1. Carolina Friends School petition to modify an existing Class A Special Use <br />Permit to expand school operations at their facility at 4809 Friends School <br />Road — To review a developer - initiated application to rezone several parcels to a <br />Conditional Use Zoning classification and a Class A Special Use Permit application <br />seeking to expand existing school operations. <br />2. Comprehensive Plan Land Use Element Map and Zoning Atlas Amendments — <br />To review government- initiated amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use <br />Element Map and to the Zoning Atlas to assign land use category classifications and to <br />establish initial zoning for approximately 65 properties that will now be under Orange <br />County's planning jurisdiction as the result of the re- alignment of the Orange /Alamance <br />County Line as described within Session Law 2011 -88 (commonly referred to as the <br />'91 % line') enacted by the North Carolina General Assembly on May 25, 2011. <br />1 of 2 <br />
