CTP subcommittee met once each <br />month for duration of CTP development. During the last few months of 2011 and <br />..shortage of .staff support, the .Board. met less frequently.. and as needed to <br />address BOCC priorities. <br />Brief Statement of Board/Commission's Assigned Charge and <br />Responsibilities. <br />The purpose of the Orange Unified Transportation Board is to advise the Board <br />of County Commissioners (BOCC) on major transportation issues, and provide to <br />the Board recommendations regarding the overall planning and programming of <br />transportation improvements in the county. <br />What are your Board/Commission's most important accomplishments? <br />In 2011, the OUTBoard has: <br />1. Oversaw the ongoing development of a Comprehensive Transportation <br />Plan (Comprehensive Plan Transportation Element Objective T-3-2) for <br />rural Orange County.* <br />2. Oversaw the ongoing development (via the Pedestrian Safety <br />Subcommittee) of the Safe Routes to School Action Plan. <br />
