The <br />Marketing Committee meets several times per year as necessary. Executive <br />Director meets with the County Manager, EDC Director and Finance chair at <br />least quarterly to review major initiatives. <br />Brief Statement of Board/Commission's Assigned Charge and <br />Responsibilities. <br />The board serves in an advisory capacity to Orange County government in order <br />to help Orange County execute a strong tourism program that builds hotel <br />occupancy, promotes the assets of the entire Orange County and generates <br />demand and spending among visitors to Orange County. The board appoints a <br />board of 13, ranging from hoteliers, restaurateurs, High School Athletic <br />Association, (3) Town representatives, historical and artistic representatives as <br />well as the University and economic development stewards.
