2 <br /> Recoqnitions at Reqular Board Meetincts <br /> The Board does not currently have a standing policy or process/criteria (outside of the petitions <br /> process) for requests from Board members as it relates to recognizing an individual, group or <br /> corporate entity's accomplishments at a BOCC Regular meeting. <br /> This item was tabled from the June 16, 2011 and the November 10, 2011 BOCC Work <br /> Sessions. The decision points that are to be considered are: <br /> Decision Points: <br /> Does the Board want to adopt a formalized policy/process as it relates to recognition <br /> requests? <br /> If so, what criteria/timeframe would the Board like to see as it relates to these types of <br /> recognitions? <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board discuss these issues and <br /> provide direction to staff as needed. <br />
