In these <br />capacities, I am well familiar with the many facets of emergency operations and <br />preparedness within Orange County. Prior to these positions I operated as a consultant, <br />creating Tabletop Exercises for universities including UNC, the University of Maryland, <br />and Catholic University. All focused on emergency response. <br />Volunteer Experience: <br />I have not volunteered in Orange County, NC, specifically before. <br />Education: <br />I hold a BA in Writing from East Carolina University, with an additional Advanced Study <br />Certification in Business and Technical Writing from there as well. <br />Other Comments: <br />I am the former Business Continuity Officer at UNC, and most recently worked as <br />Assistant to the Associate Vice President of Emergency Management and Planning <br />within the Office of the President (General Administration) for the UNC System. I am <br />uniquely qualified to assist this work group because I have had extensive prior <br />experience coordinating with the variety of emergency service providers in Orange <br />County, including UNC Hospitals, local EMS, the fire departments, the public health <br />
