29 <br />ATTACHMENT 2 <br />PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br />This is to inform the public that a public hearing will be held on the proposed orange County Community <br />Transportation Program Application to be submitted to the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />no later than January 25, 2012. The public hearing will be held on January 24, 2012 at Southern Human Services <br />Building, 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27516 before the (governing board) Orange County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br />Those interested in attending the public hearing and needing either auxiliary aids and services under the <br />Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or a language translator should contact AI Terry on or before <br />January 23, 2012, at telephone number 919-245-2008 or via email at aterry@co.orange.nc.us. <br />The Community Transportation Program provides assistance to coordinate existing transportation <br />programs operating in orange County as well as provides transportation options and services for the <br />communities within this service area. These services are currently provided using faced, demand response, <br />deviated fixed, and subscription routes.
