(See page 1-12.)The available themes for the selected object in the Themes list box are <br /> displayed. <br /> Themes are related to objects. They enable you to distinguish between objects on the map by <br /> allowing you to create and apply a theme to a particular object. <br /> Themes allow you to display objects differently based on various types of non-geographic infor- <br /> mation, such as posted speeds on streets and elevation of peaks,that can be defined to display dif- <br /> ferently on the map.For instance,you can define a theme for the posted speed limits against the <br /> streets(object)to display differently on the map, such that when the theme is applied, streets with <br /> a posted speed limit of 15 m.p.h. displays in red, 25 m.p.h. displays in blue, and so on. <br /> To view a theme,the object to which the theme was applied must be displayed on the map.
