SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> NR <br /> Zoom levels allow you to save a specific view of the map. With zoom levels,you can: <br /> • Save a zoom level for later use. <br /> • Open an existing zoom level. <br /> • Configure the appearance of a zoom level. <br /> MapTrak allows you to delete zoom levels you created but not zoom levels created by a System <br /> Administrator. <br /> You can also zoom from CAD onto MapTrak. You do this from the command line on the CAD <br /> window. CAD allows you to zoom in on a Call For Service or a unit. To zoom from CAD,the <br /> CFS must contain a verified incident address. To zoom onto a unit,the unit must be at a valid <br /> location. <br /> • With a verified incident address in the CFS,type zm in the Command Line. MapTrak <br /> becomes the active window and zooms in on the Call For Service. <br /> • When the unit is located at a valid location,type zm <unit number>in the Command <br /> Line. MapTrak becomes the active window and zooms in on the unit. <br /> Panning. Panning allows you to move around the map within a zoom level. You can move the <br /> map to the left and right or up and down, enabling you to view additional areas of the map at a <br /> particular zoom level. <br /> FIELDS AND BUTTONS <br /> Zoom Level Scrolled list box. Displays the existing zoom levels. <br /> Link to System:The selected zoom level displays in the Miles Wide field. <br /> Miles Wide Numeric field. Displays the measurement of the currently selected zoom level. <br /> You can change the approximate measurement of the zoom level by entering a <br /> new measurement. <br /> Display Scrolled list box. Displays objects that can be included in the zoom level. <br /> Links to System: Selecting objects from the display list on the zoom level does <br /> not display the objects on the map. <br /> The Theme command button becomes available when you select an object <br /> with an associated theme. <br /> New Command button.Allows you to create new zoom levels. <br /> 01/18/10 1-29 <br />
