SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> NR <br /> Line.Allows you to select objects by drawing a line through them with <br /> the mouse. When the line is defined,right-click to end the line. Only <br /> the objects that the line touches are included in the selection. <br /> Polygon. Allows you to select objects by drawing a polygon around <br /> them. When the polygon is defined,right-click to close the polygon. <br /> Only the objects that are entirely included in the polygon are included <br /> in the selection. <br /> Rectangle.Allows you to select objects by drawing a rectangle around <br /> them. Only the objects that are contained within the rectangle are <br /> included in the selection. <br /> Circle.Allows you to select objects by drawing a circle around them. <br /> Only the objects that are entirely included in the circle are included in <br /> the selection. <br /> Clear <br /> Selection Icon. Removes the selected objects on the map. The objects revert to <br /> their original object attribute as shown on the object button on the Map <br /> Legend. (See page 1-98.) <br /> Configure Icon. Opens the Selection Configuration window,allowing you to mod- <br /> ify the display of the selected objects. (See page 1-51.) <br /> Select Via <br /> Expression Icon. Opens the Select via Expression window, allowing you to select <br /> objects via an expression. (See page 1-53.) <br /> Data Analysis <br /> Window Icon. Opens the Data Analysis window,allowing you to view data <br /> about the selected objects. (See page 1-55.) <br /> Display <br /> Toolbar The Display toolbar section provides tools you use to zoom and pan on the <br /> map, as well as modify the background color of the map. <br /> s <br /> Idle Icon. Clears the selection of all of the tools in all sections of the toolbar. <br /> Hold Refresh Icon.Allows you to refresh or suspend the refreshing of the map. <br /> Link to System:Choosing the icon stops the refreshing of the map.The <br /> map will refresh at the time you clear the selection of this icon. <br /> 01/20/10 1-19 <br />
