SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
MOBILETRAK
User Functions
Some users logging into MobileTrak do not represent a valid unit but do have a user name recog-
nized by the Unit Activity Report restriction's datafile. These non-unit MobileTrak users can,by
default, view Unit Activity Reports for all units. Additional configurations can be created to
restrict a user's ability to view Unit Activity Reports.
A logged-in(non-unit)user can be configured to be able to view Unit Activity Reports only for
units from one of the agencies defined as viewable for the logged-in user. If a logged-in user
defines report criteria that includes both allowed and restricted units, the system generates an
Activity Report that includes only the allowed units. If a logged-in user attempts to open an
Activity Report that includes only restricted units (that is,units that aren't associated with one of
the allowed agencies),then the system displays an error message and prevents the Activity Report
from opening.
1.2 07/20/11
