Orange RaCE Test Report <br />In operation the transmit path is through TX & TX/RX, the circulator and the antenna. <br />The receive path is through the antenna, the circulator and TX/RX. The loss through the <br />circulator of approximately 0.6 dB is factored into the required calculations. <br />6.5 Specific Equipment Test Setup for DAQ and RSSI Testing <br />The stationary unit was setup in room 311 (top floor) at the Holiday Inn Express 202 <br />Cardinal Drive in Hillsborough. The stationary antenna was placed on the refrigerator <br />inside of the room. A very strong control channel signal from the Hillsborough site was <br />received by the radio at this location. <br />The mobile unit was setup in CTA's Chrysler van. The mobile radio antenna was placed <br />in the center of the roof at the front of the van. Only one ICOM receiver was used to scan <br />the control channel frequencies. The RSSI antenna was placed on the center of the roof <br />towards the rear of the van. <br />-19- H MM I AEC ' <br />
