John Link pointed out that if a small high school is built and another one is needed, a bond issue <br /> would be needed in 2006 to fund it. <br /> Commissioner Gordon made reference to Cedar Ridge High School funding and asked where the <br /> pay-as-you-go money comes in and Ken Chavious said that it would be the debt service of$1.9 million <br /> each year. She asked what process was gone through when Cedar Ridge was built and John Link said <br /> that there was no committee. The Orange County system made the argument that their present High <br /> School was overcrowded and proceeded from there. He said that there is additional information from <br /> both high schools on their high school projects. <br /> Commissioner Halkiotis made reference to the funding for Cedar Ridge and said that he is not <br /> sure he would recommend this type of funding for Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools because it leaves <br /> little money to take care of situations that may come up. <br /> Commissioner Brown asked for information on what the programming would be for a 750 student <br /> High School. <br /> Commissioner Halkiotis made reference to page 4 and asked if anyone is tracking the impact fee <br /> collections to see how close they are to projections. He asked for these figures for Monday evening. <br /> Commissioner Gordon asked if the questions about the Orange County central office space have <br /> been answered and Chair Jacobs said not yet. <br /> 4.
