The Board authorized staff to submit a grant proposal to the United States Department of <br /> Agriculture (USDA) Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program to provide <br /> funding for programs associated with the Breeze Farm Incubator Program, the Piedmont <br /> Food &Ag Processing Center, and Piedmont Grown, as well as prospective entities outside <br /> Orange County. <br /> � Amendment of a Resolution Approvinct Oranae Countv's Participation in the North <br /> Carolina Local Government Debt Setoff Proqram <br /> The Board approved the Resolution Approving Orange County's Participation in the North <br /> Carolina Local Government Debt Setoff Program, which is incorporated by reference, to <br /> designate the Financial Services Director to consider appeals from debtors who wish to <br /> contest the intended setoff monies owed to other departments under the North Carolina <br /> Local Government Debt Setoff Program ("the Program"). <br /> h. Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance (UDOI Amendment Outline <br /> and Schedule for Upcominp Items <br /> This item was removed and placed at the end of the consent agenda for separate <br /> consideration. <br /> i. She asked the Board to remove item 6 from this item 5-h, UDO Text <br /> Amendment for Rural Economic Development Area Conditional District. She said that when the <br /> UDO was approved last spring, there was strong opposition to conditional districts in the rural <br /> areas.
