A selection panel will review and evaluate proposals and submit a <br /> recommendation for a single firm for this project. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project consists of construction of an extension to the Efland sewer system and an extension of <br /> the City of Mebane's sewer system into the Northern Buckhorn community. The work for this Project <br /> involves the construction of approximately 5,370 linear feet of 8 inch gravity sanitary sewers to serve <br /> the Buckhorn Area north of 1-85 and 19,514 linear feet of 8 inch gravity sewers with a 250 G.P.M. <br /> Pump Station and 2,460 linear feet of 6 inch ductile iron force main to serve the Efland Community. <br /> Specific items to be addressed are listed below: <br /> Submittal Information <br /> All respondents are requested to provide the information cited below, as well as any supplemental <br /> information that provides a comprehensive view of the firm, the proposed project team and the <br /> approach to this project. However, information should be presented in a clear and concise manner. <br /> Section I - Information About the Firm <br /> 1. Project Organization and Staffing <br /> a. Listing of all staff to be assigned to the Project, including detailed resumes for all <br /> persons on this list. <br /> b. Discuss the responsibilities to be fulfilled by each staff member who will be assigned to <br /> the Project. <br /> c. Identify current weekly contract commitments of staff to be assigned to the Project. <br /> d. Construction is scheduled to begin October 1, 2011 with a contract period of 450 days. <br /> Please confirm that your firm will be available to begin testing on that date and be <br /> available for the duration of the project <br /> e. Provide a listing and brief description of four projects of similar scope and size <br /> completed by the firm; provide references and phone numbers for each project; identify <br /> staff who were involved in each project. <br /> f. Subcontractors - Respondents are expected to present their complete project team in <br /> the response, including all subcontractors that may be proposed. Since subcontractor <br /> qualifications will be evaluated similarly to the proposing firm's own team, please ensure <br /> that complete information is included. <br />
