S&M Engineering Technician,2004- <br /> elementary school project. 2005 <br /> Riverbend Elementary School, Raleigh, NC -- Mr. Duffy served as a <br /> Special Inspector and engineering technician responsible for soils, <br /> concrete, and masonry inspections and testing for the new 104,000 sq.ft. <br /> elementary school project. <br /> Poe Elementary School, Raleigh, NC -- Mr. Duffy served as the Special <br /> Inspector and lead engineering technician responsible for soils, concrete, <br /> and masonry inspections and testing for the 3,800 sq.ft. elementary school <br /> addition and renovation project. <br /> Town of Chapel Hill Operations Center, Chapel Hill, NC — This project <br /> consists of the construction of 15 separate buildings, roadways and parking <br /> lots. Testing included soil density for buildings, roadways and parking lots; <br /> soil bearing testing for foundations; concrete for foundations and slabs; and <br /> concrete floor flatness and levelness testing. <br /> North Regional Center, Wake Forest, NC: Mr. Duffy performed special <br /> inspections and construction materials testing during the construction of <br /> the new government center in Wake Forest. The project consisted of a <br /> single-story steel framed building with brick veneer walls. <br /> Costco Wholesale, Columbia, MD: Mr. Duffy served as field technician <br /> for the special inspections and testing program for the construction of a <br /> new 140,000 square-foot Costco retail warehouse in Columbia, Maryland. <br /> Hatteras Secondary School, NC — The project is an approximately <br /> 60,000 square foot addition to the existing school. Testing included soil <br /> density for buildings, roadways and parking lots; soil bearing testing for <br /> foundations; concrete for foundations and slabs; and concrete floor flatness <br /> and levelness testing. <br /> Case Farms, Calypso, NC — The project is a new feed mill and included <br /> slip-formed concrete silo and mill structures.
