The project consisted of a single-story US Marine Corps, 1993-1997 <br /> steel framed building with brick veneer walls. <br /> US 17 Bypass, Wilmington, NC: Transportation Technician performing <br /> roadway and asphalt inspections on roadways and bridges. <br /> Responsibilities included inspecting piles, footings, columns, rebar, bolts, <br /> and decking. Performed concrete sampling and testing, and performed <br /> ABD thickness &gradation testing. <br /> NCDOT Division 5 CEI, Raleigh-Durham, NC: Transportation Technician <br /> responsible for inspections and testing of roadways including trench <br /> operations, concrete testing, roadway and asphalt inspections and <br /> documentation of pay items. <br /> New Hope Bridge, Raleigh, NC: Responsible for asphalt inspections and <br /> testing of drilled shaft foundation systems per NCDOT and City of Raleigh <br /> specifications for bridge construction. <br /> EPA Research Facility, Research Triangle Park, NC: Technician <br /> responsible for soil, concrete, and roadway inspections and testing. <br /> Project included approximately 6000' of new roadway, two parking decks <br /> and seven multi-story office/lab structures.
