Statement of Qualifications for Construction Material Testing Services Irerracon Central Efland/Northem Buckhorn Sewer Extension Orange County,NC <br /> September 21,2011 u Terracon Proposal No.P70110416 <br /> PROJECT STAFF <br /> CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING PROJECT TEAM <br /> Construction services is Terracon's largest in-house service line, and the Raleigh office boasts a <br /> staff of over 25 highly trained and experienced technicians, inspectors and professional staff <br /> that are familiar and comfortable working with both private and public sector clients. <br /> We propose to utilize the following personnel on this contract: <br /> J. Aaron Ezzell, PG, El— Mr. Ezzell will serve as the Project Manager for the Terracon project <br /> team. Mr. Ezzell is a CMT Project Manager in Terracon's Raleigh office, and he has over ten <br /> years of experience managing and performing field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, and <br /> asphalt. Mr. Ezzell has managed materials testing projects for NC State University, the Town of <br /> Cary, Wake County, Wake County Public Schools, Wake Technical Community College, and <br /> East Carolina University. <br /> Mr. Ezzell will be the primary point of contact between Orange County and Terracon, and he will <br /> be responsible for the overall administration and execution of the project. The following are brief <br /> resume summaries for other key materials testing professionals: <br /> Scott Rist—Mr. Rist has over nine years of experience performing construction inspections and <br /> testing services and has been involved in the past Buried Utility Installation projects listed in the <br /> "Similar Project Experience" section. He is an International Code Council (ICC) certified <br /> Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector and is also NICET Level I certified in soils and concrete. <br /> He performs general construction inspection and field and laboratory construction materials <br /> testing, including monitoring of structural backfill and fill placement. Mr. Rist also performs on- <br /> site soil compaction tests using sand-cone, drive-tube and nuclear gauge test methods, and <br /> field sampling and testing of fresh concrete. Mr. Rist will serve as the lead engineering <br /> technician for this project. <br /> David Duffy- Mr. Duffy has over five years of experience in construction materials testing, with <br /> specialized laboratory and field testing experience. He is an ICC certified Reinforced Masonry <br /> Special Inspector and NICET Level II certified in Soils, Concrete, and Asphalt. Mr. Duffy will <br /> serve as a supplemental engineering technician, if needed, for this project. <br /> Stephanie Hardison - Ms. Hardison is the Laboratory Manager in Terracon's Raleigh office, <br /> and she has over ten years of experience performing construction materials testing and <br /> inspection. She manages, coordinates, and/or performs all laboratory testing to supplement the <br /> office workload. Ms. Hardison ensures continued certification of the Raleigh laboratory by the <br /> North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), the Army Corps of Engineers (COE), <br /> and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). Ms. <br /> Hardison will be responsible for overseeing all laboratory testing for this project. <br /> We do not propose to utilize any sub-consultants or sub-contractors for this contract. <br /> Reliable n.Resourceful a B.esponsive <br /> 1 <br />
