(Terracon) is pleased to submit this Statement of Qualifications to <br /> Orange County to provide Construction Material Testing services during construction of the <br /> Central Efland/Northern Buckhorn Sewer Extension project. <br /> Terracon has over twenty (20) certified technician, inspectors and engineers based out of our <br /> Raleigh office. Our technicians and inspectors are certified through the American Concrete <br /> institute (ACI), National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technicians (NICET), <br /> International Code Council (ICC), North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), and <br /> the American Welding Society (AWS). <br /> The materials testing lab of our Raleigh office meets the requirements of ASTM E329, is <br /> accredited through AMRL and CCRL for AASHTO R18, and is certified through the United <br /> States Corps of Engineers (USCOE) and North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> (NCDOT). <br /> Terracon has provided testing services on 1,000's of projects in the Raleigh area. Terracon is <br /> familiar with the testing and inspection requirements of the City of Raleigh and Wake County. <br /> Terracon has provided testing and inspection services on many of the major projects in the <br /> area, such as the City of Raleigh Convention Center and the Wake County Justice Center. <br /> Terracon has also provided testing and inspection services on several utility installation projects <br /> including: <br /> • Bolin Creek Interceptor Phase 3 <br /> • SE Beaverdam Creek Interceptor Rehabilitation <br /> • Dempsey Benton Phase 3 <br /> • Pettigrew Street Sewer Line <br /> • Lower Crabtree Creek Interceptor <br /> Terracon is also unique in our commitment to report turnaround times. Daily reports will be <br /> distributed electronically (via email or project document website). We will distribute all finalized <br /> reports within 5 days of the date of service and any reports that document non-conformances <br /> within 24 hours or less.
