Chair Jacobs made reference to page 4 and emphasized the importance of working with the <br />State to try and address mobile source emission reductions from large and heavy-duty trucks. The only <br />thing missing is the cooperative forestry issue with clearing and burning. In the western part of the state <br />there are public notifications about no burning days because of air quality and this is something we can <br />continue to promote. We cannot regulate forestry but we can work toward same awareness about no <br />burning days, etc. <br />It was decided that the goal on air quality was fine. Wording will be brought back to incorporate <br />the above suggestions. <br />The County Commissioners will identify which goals they want to accept and which they do not. <br />If there are specific wording changes, those could be highlighted with a different color for each <br />Commissioner. <br />10.
