I would bring a number of skills <br />to the position. At my day job I provide legal technical assistance to health officers, <br />boards of health, policy makers and related individuals and am familiar with many of the <br />issues facing boards of health in general and the situation in North Carolina in particular. <br />As a volunteer and in previous positions I have worked with a wide variety~of individuals <br />and groups, including disadvantaged populations, elected officials and appointed policy <br />makers. I am also proficient in public health epidemiological data and its impacts on <br />health and health policy.
