Every 12 years,the plan buys a <br /> replacement bus for each previously purchased bus as the vehicle reaches the end of its <br /> useful life. (12 years for a heavy-duty bus). The cost of a full-size bus in 2012 is <br /> projected to be $396,000. <br />
