L <br />Current Library Operations <br />Current book return statistics are approximately 35% higher than when the library <br />was housed in the Whiffed Building. Overall the library has seen a 44% increase <br />in circulation to nearly 31,000 items per month at our Main Location at 137 W <br />Margaret Lane. These include the fine and fee schedules, the system <br />for charging for badly damaged or lost items, and the new County Delinquent <br />Collection policies. Under the current model, all returned items are processed <br />using the exact same steps, providing consistency and efficiency. The Library's <br />circulation policies limit the number of items that a patron is able to check out. <br />For example, in order to check out 3 new movies, the 3 movies returned must <br />have been checked back in and in good condition before a patron may check out . <br />new items. <br />2 <br />
