12 <br />Option 2: Staff Observations <br />This option requires the use of interior space and would require re-arranging the <br />collection in the Children's Department, thereby potentially reducing its size. <br />Based on preliminary assessment by staff, in excess of 2,000 items in the Easy <br />Readers (preschool collection) are likely to be affected. <br />To maintain the patron's records and ensure no erroneous fines were imposed <br />for non-returned materials, a covered and secure interior book drop area would <br />be necessary for this area as well.
