17 <br />ATTACHMENT 3 <br />BILL OF SALE <br />(Water Distribution and Sewage Collection System) <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, Orange County, North Carolina, <br />whose principal post office address is Post Office Box 8181, 200 South Cameron Street, <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278, hereinafter referred to as Seller, for and in consideration of the <br />sum of Ten Dollars ($10) and good and valuable consideration, the receipt and <br />sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, convey, sell <br />and transfer to the CITY OF MEBANE, whose post office address is 106 East <br />Washington Street, Mebane, NC 27302, hereinafter referred to as Buyer, its successors <br />and assigns: <br />that certain Water Distribution and Sewage Collection system (design by Coulter, Jewell <br />& Thames, PA, project #0459 dated 6/22/2007) (as-built drawings entitled Orange <br />County, North Carolina, Buckhorn Water and Sewer Extensions 2006, also known as <br />Buckhorn Mebane Utilities Phase I) <br />approximately 7575 LF of 6" Sewer Force Main <br />approximately 1085 LF of 8" Sewer Gravity <br />approximately 205 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) (upgradeable to 325 GPM) <br />Gravelly Hill Sewer Pump Station <br />approximately 9835 LF of 12" DIP Water Main, and <br />that certain Water and Sewage Collection system that serves the Gravelly Hill Middle <br />School and Orange County Soccer Center designed, permitted and certified by Coulter, <br />Jewell & Thames, PA, Mike Hammersley, PE, Reg. No. 13350 on September 20, 2006. <br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the Buyer, its successors and assigns <br />forever. <br />AND SELLER, its successors and assigns, covenants to and with the Buyer that <br />Seller is the lawful owner of the above described personal property, free and clear of all <br />encumbrances, and that it will warrant and defend the sale of said property against the <br />claims and demands of all other persons whatsoever. <br />
