2 <br />non-residential development. Specific properties and zoning district(s) to be determined <br />in the next two months. <br />6. UDO Text Amendment -Add new conditional zoning district to Section 3.8, new column <br />in Section 5.2.3, and two definitions in Article 10. This amendment will establish the <br />Rural Economic Development Area (REDA) Conditional Zoning district. <br />7. UDO Text Amendment -Add new Section 6.20. This amendment will require that any <br />new construction within a designated County sewer service area would have to use the <br />public sewer system as its means of wastewater treatment. Also, the sewer system <br />would be the only allowed repair option for existing septic tanks that fail in the sewer <br />service area. <br />8. UDO Text Amendment -Revisions to Sections 1.19 and 6.14. This amendment will <br />modify stormwater development standards to meet the State required Falls Lake and <br />Jordan Lake New Development stormwater rules. <br />9. Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Atlas Amendments -Increase the size of the Eno <br />Economic Development District to match the urban growth boundary of the City of <br />Durham. This area is within the County's Primary Service Area on the Water and Sewer <br />Management, Planning, and Boundary Agreement (WASMPBA) Map and could be <br />services by a new utility agreement with Durham. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: See Financial Impact included in each attached Amendment Outline. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the attached <br />Amendment Outlines and direct staff to proceed accordingly. <br />
